Yala Peak Climbing in Nepal

This peak is usually climbed in 2 Days from Kyanjin Gompa (3900m), camping at Yala Kharka (4600m). It's also possible to do it in one Day, without camping, but it's a long Day with a pre-dawn start. Yala Peak is very close to Tibetan border; indeed, the one of the border mountain is right next to it (connected by a ridge). The view from top includes Shishapangma, the only eight-thousander completely in Tibet.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, hotel transfer, Overnight hotel.

Day 02: Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure, Overnight hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche 1960m/6hrs by Bus, Overnight Camp.

Day 04: Trek from Dhunche to Thulo Syabru 2250m/6hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 05: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Lama Hotel 2470m/6hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 06: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village 3330m/5hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 07: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa 3870m/3hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 08:Acclimatization day, hike to Tsergo-Ri 4985m/6hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 09: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Yala Base Camp 4600m/6hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 10: Preparation Day for Climbing, Overnight Camp.

Day 11: Summit to Yala Peak 5500m and back to Kyanjin Gompa 3870m/8hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 12: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel 2470m/5hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 13: Trek from Lama Hotel to Khanjim 2235m/5hrs via Sherpa Gaon, Overnight Camp.

Day 14: Trek from Khanjim to Syabrubesi 1467m/5hrs, Overnight Camp.

Day 15: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu by bus and transfer to Hotel.

Day 16: Final Departure to International Airport for your further destination.
