Langtang is a wildly beautiful region in Nepal sandwiched between the icy glaciers of the Himalaya and the Tibetan border. this valley is known as valley of glaiciers. Langtang valley is a spectacular region with breathtaking Himalayan scenery glaciers decend from massive snow capped peaks, rushing mountain streams carve their way through pine forests, and the sacred alpine lakes of Gosainkunda offer serenity to pilgrims and trekkers alike.Being easily accessible from Kathmandu by road and spending the first night at lovely hill town of Syabrubesi, the actual trek begins the following day. The trail winds zigzag through Rhododendron and Conifer forests and heads up to high Alpine Yak pastures, glaciers, moraines and ultimately numerous peaks. The Langtang Region Peaks are the quickest and least expensive to climb. The trail head to the approach trek is just a one-day's drive from Kathmandu yet there is enough time to acclimatize for the ascent, making these peaks very safe, even for novice climbers. These peaks are also the least expensive and have relatively little risk involved, while still giving a classic alpine peak experience. In spite of the beauty and accessability, the Langtang peaks attract fewer trekkers than the Everest and Annapurna peaks, which only adds to the allure. The Langtang Valley runs east-west in central Nepal between the northern Himalayan range and lesser peaks in the south. The high northern mountains are dominated by Langtang Lirung, 7245m. In the south Chimse Danda (Hill), Ganja La pass, 5122m, Jugal Himal and Dorje Lakpa, 6989m. Peak climbing in the Langtang region ensures personal satisfaction and great rewards for any climbing enthusiasts.
