We have listed here all the necessary equipments which are most important for every trekker. The given list of personal gear you can buy as per your need to make your trekking holiday more comfortable. There are also in list categorized different importance of concerning trekkers need to provide easy way to buy before heading for journey.
- Climbing helmet
- Warm beanie that fits under your helmet
- Glacier glasses (Category 4)
- Insulated stiff-soled climbing boots (B3)
- Crampons (C2)
- Climbing Harness
- Ascending device:Jumar
- Descending or belay device
- Ice axe with wrist strap (suitable for climbing)
- Two lockable carabiners
- Two non-locking carabiners
- Prussik loop
- 220cm Tape sling (open) or 2 x 120 cm Tape sling (closed) - UIAA tested
- Silk liner glove or similar
- Warm insulated fingered gloves safety straps that allow ample dexterity and grip for use with a jumar or unlock/lock caribiners.
- Over mittens with safety straps that fit over your insulated fingered gloves to provide additional warmth and wind protection.
For peak climbs we will increase the weight allowance of your main equipment bag to 15kg. However, if the airline is unable to take the excess baggage on the same flight, we will need to re-pack your climbing kit separately so that it can be sent on a later flight. A porter will then catch up with you on the trek to deliver it.

- Sun hat - preferably wide-brimmed for protection

- Headlamp (plus extra batteries)
- Gloves - lightweight, fleece or quick drying fabric
- Gloves or mittens - heavyweight, insulated, preferably water resistant
- Trekking boots - mid weight with good ankle support
- Training shoe or similar - to wear around the teahouses
- Socks - 3 pairs of outer and 3 pairs of liner socks
- Rucksack or Daypack - 35-45 litres
- Waterproof duffle bag (approx 80-100 litres)
- Sleeping bag (4 season or -10 Deg C) and compression sack
- Insulated sleeping mat
- Trekking poles
- Long sleeve shirt/tshirt - light or medium weight, moisture wicking (x 2)
- Fleece or soft shell jacket
- Insulated jacket - down or primaloft
- Water/windproof hard shell outer jacket
- Short sleeved shirt/tshirt - lightweight, moisture wicking
- Leggings - thermal or fleece base layer
- Trekking trousers - light or medium weight (x2)
- Waterproof hard shell trousers
- Sunscreen high SPF
- Water bottles: 2 x 1 litre wide mouth nalgene bottles (or 2 litre platypus for approach only)
- Dry bag (only required if your main duffle bag is not waterproof)
