We organize trekking to Upper Mustang Region also known as Lo Manthang. Trekking in Upper Mustang region is an opportunity to experience Buddhist Tibetan Culture from close. Mustang region is rich in Buddhist culture similar to Tibetan people. Tibetan Buddhism is still being practiced in a very pure form and villages are built in Tibetan style even today. Mustang region was a lost kingdom of Tibet and still traditions and cultures remain purely Tibetan.
Mustang was opened to western tourists in 1992. Trekking in Mustang region offers a chance to explore the thousand years of old monastery, caves, local tribes and scenic beauties of the different landscapes. Not only this, panoramic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and several other peaks, almost tree-less barren landscape, a steep rocky trail are the other attractions of this trekking region. Similarly, another major attraction of Mustang region is the Tiji Festival influenced by Tibetan Buddhism celebrated in May.
