Annapurna Region Peak Climbing is the most famous Peak Climbing Area (Region) of Nepal due to its natural beauty, cultural and ethnic diversity and proximity. Every year about 60,000 trekkers along with Peak Climbers explore this region. Annapurna is the first 8,000mt mountain conquered. It was accomplished by Maurice Herzog & Louis Lachenal on June 3rd 1950. The broadest pass, Thorong-la 5416mt, the deepest gorge in the world, Dana, and the biggest rhododendron forest in the world are other attractions of the Annapurna Trekking - Peak Climbing Region.
