The Nar Phu Valley trek is a perfect trek for those looking for an opportunity to explore unspoiled valleys and unforgettable trekking experience. Nar Phu is a small beautiful village, a true hidden gem which is rich in ancient Buddhist culture. Compared to other treks in Annapurna region, this trek is challenging but it is the best trek for you if you are looking for a rare opportunity to explore the remote communities in the mountain and learn about local and their traditional ways of life.
The Kang La Pass (5315m) is one of the major attractions of this trek. From the Kang La Pass, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Annapurna II (7937m), Gangapura (7455m) and Tilicho Peak (7134m).
Best time for the Nar Phu Trek: The seasons of March to May and September to November are the best time for the Nar Phu Valley Trek. But this trek also possible in the monsoon period June to August. The winter period is not the best time for the Nar Phu trek as the high pass could be impassable with snow.
Arrival in Kathmandu, pick-up from airport and transfer you to the hotel. After hotel check-in and short relaxation, you will be met by your trekking guide and porter. After short brief about your trip, we take you for a welcome dinner. OVernight Kathmandu.
Breakfast in the hotel and we take you for World Heritage Sightseeing Tour and our tour includes our visit to Swyambhunath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan city. After sightseeing tour, we transfer you back to the hotel and you are free to preparing your backpacks for trekking. Overnight Kathmandu.
Breakfast and we leave for Besibahar by bus and continue to Koto Village in jeeps. Today we will be driving about 12 hours by waterfalls, deep gorges and amazing views. Road from Kathmandu to Koto village is one of the most unique and scenic roads in Nepal.
After arrival at Koto village, get settled in our local tea house accommodation for the evening, and enjoy a classic Nepali dinner.

Breakfast and we start our first day of trekking to Meta and we begin our walk by crossing the river and entering the Nar and Phu Valleys. Our today's walk is a beautiful walk takes us through majestic forests, through a narrow canyon, under a broad waterfall, and out into the open for big mountain views. The last stint into Meta ascends a steep hill, where we earn jaw-dropping views of some of the giant glaciated peaks in the region.
After arrival at Meta Village, We check into our tea house and you will will have free time for relaxation.

Breakfast and we continue our hike to Phu village. On the trail we can see some of the beautiful, iconic Tibetan Buddhist chortens for which Nar and Phu are known. Today we walk through the breathtaking canyons and gorges. After arriving at Phu village and getting settled into our tea house, we take short walk and visit the famous Tashi Lhakhang Gompa to honor Lama Karma Sonam Rimpoche who arrived in Nepal with the Dalai Lama in the late 1950's.
After visit to Gomba, we return back to our tea house.

Today is our free day for the acclimatize in Phu. After breakfast we take a short tour around Phu village and afternoon we can hike to Himlung Himal base camp. Himlung Himal (23,379 feet) was recently opened for climbing. Hike to its base camp is challenging that goes through a stunning glacial valley and past herds of blue sheep grazing on steep cliffs.

Breakfast and we hike down to village f Mega but we stop at Nar Phedi monastery and it will be our place for accommodation for the night. Afternoon walk around Nar Phedi village. After short visit of Nar Phedi, we return to the monastery. At 5 pm they usually do a puja (blessing) at the monastery and we are welcome to join them.

Breakfast and we start our walk to Nar village which is a relaxing easy walk. On the way down to Nar we can see lines of beautifully painted colorful chortens. We arrive at Nar for lunch time. After lunch, we take a short walk around Nar Village. Even though this village is not very far from famous Annapurna trail, it is off the beaten path, rarely visited by trekkers.

Today we start our day bit early as it is a day with the long challenging walk. After taking early quick breakfast we start our walk to towards the Kang La Pass and it will connect us with the popular Annapurna Circuit trail.
The Kang La Pass offers the beautiful view of mountain peaks. After enjoying the beautiful view of the Tilicho Peak, Gangapurna, Annapurna II, and other towering Himalayan giants, we will descend from the pass and make our way to Ngawal village.

Breakfast in the lodge and we start our trek to Pisang which is our trekking ending point. After 4 hours of amazing walk, we arrive at Pisang where we will have our meal. After meal, we drive to Besisahar and it is about 6 hours drive.
Brekafast and we drive back to Kathmandu and it is about 5 hours drive by bus. Afternoon, arrival in kathmandu, hotel transfer and you are free for your own activities. You can go for shopping or relaxation at the hotel.
Breakfast in the hotel, prepare your bags, take a short walk around Thamel and after that we transfer you to the airport for your flight.
